Finished prefolds are 2x3x2 layers (an outer layer, an inner layer, and a hidden center layer). Click here for a description of the natural fiber fabric options. All fabric is pre-shrunk although some minimal shrinkage after washing can be expected.

1. Choose an outer fabric (natural or hand-dyed):
bamboo fleece (70% bamboo/30% organic cotton)
hemp fleece (70% hemp/30% organic cotton)
bamboo french terry (snappi-able) (70% bamboo/30% organic cotton)
bamboo velour (70% bamboo/30% organic cotton)
bamboo loop terry (snappiable) (70% bamboo/30% organic cotton)
100% organic cotton velour
100% organic cotton sherpa
2. Choose a hidden center panel layer:
bamboo fleece
hemp fleece
organic cotton velour
3. Choose an inner (baby-facing) fabric:
bamboo fleece
bamboo velour
organic cotton velour
hemp fleece
4. Choose a size:
Small: 12"x14" for newborns up to 15 lbs
Medium: 14"x 17" for babies 10-28 lbs
Large: 16.5"x18.5" for babies 20-40 lbs
